During the year, there are many events held at the Texas County Fairgrounds, some of which are as follows:
- July 4th Fireworks Display.
- Old Settlers Reunion.
- Texas County Fair (old fashioned county fair with livestock and horticulture exhibits, carnival, the very popular demolition derby, live music, and arts and crafts vendors).
- Bluegrass Roots Concert.
